After loving how the embroidered pillowcase dress came out, I decided to crochet some flowers & make another one into a top for an older niece. It turned out so cute for Spring!
I stumbled upon a photo of a pillowcase dress & knew I had to create a few for my nieces! I decided to embroider one & added crocheted lace to the bottom edging. I love how adorable it turned out!
I have tackled another as a top, with just a basic flower crocheted lace along the bottom. I have one more underway, with crocheted flowers & lace. Just to tackle all the hand-stitching to join the flowers/stems to the top!
While washing the fabric for your next project-
wipe down your machine, and fill the thread
& bobbin with the thread color you will be using.
Use a warm iron (don't burn it!) to press out your
pattern pieces.
Then when your new fabric is dry & ready to go.....
so are you!

Keep extra basic thread on-hand.
I've run out of white a few times!
